A DAY AT THE RACES!! Don’t miss out on this great weekend of fun! Come dressed for “A Day at the Races” and ready to bet (play money) on your favourite horse. Throughout the night you’ll be sure to be part of the Derby Hat Draw, Horse Auction and bet on the Lucky Longshots. If you’re lucky you’ll even get to ride a horse! Great prizes up for grabs. Exclusive for 18 – 30 something year olds!
Welcome to our Turoa Custodians Celine and Romain. A wonderful French couple here on a NZ working holiday. Both with a passion for travelling. Being keen skiers for many years no doubt they will show us the moves!
We wish to welcome Justin Bishop a local from Ohakune, an experienced hospitality professional, started skiing when at school. Has a business degree, Cert in national H&S, Cert in First Aid, Training in General Rescue Awareness and been an appointed Maori Warden for last few years.
Justin will be knocking us all into shape!

MEALS AT THE CLUB ON ARRIVAL
Reminder that if you would like dinner at the lodge on your first night please indicate on your booking form or phone the lodge the day before. If you won’t be there by 7pm then you will need to phone the lodge and advise whether you are still expecting a meal upon your arrival or if you would like it held for you.
WHAKAPAPA VILLAGE OVERNIGHT PARKING
Members please be aware this year DOC is cutting back on long-term parking in Whakapapa Village to free up spaces for day-visitors. This means there will be no overnight parking in the village (near and around the Chateau) over winter. Please refer to the map below for specific details.
