APPLICATIONS CLOSE Friday 31st May, 2019
We would like to welcome the following new members to Rangatira for the 2019 season. If you see these members round please say Hi!
All new members are able to login to the booking system to make bookings and update their details at anytime.
Last season saw an unprecedented number of bookings at our Iwikau lodge due to the amazing snow falls, great weather and the Turoa six seater being temporarily decommissioned.
Following this and the fact that people are curious to see the new Gondola, our Iwikau lodge is even more popular than ever this year with a rush of early bookings for some peak weekends, especially the popular race weekends during August. If you haven't managed to get into some weekends, don't worry there is still lots of availability especially midweek at Iwikau and midweek and weekends at Ohakune Lodge.
Ohakune Lodge has a new one night minimum policy which we would like to trial this season. This means that you have the option to book either one or both weekend nights at Ohakune lodge.
We have also moved some key events such as Ladies weekend and Mens weekend to the Ohakune Lodge to show Turoa some love and alleviate some pressure on the Iwikau lodge.
Just a reminder that all members have the option to either wait list for the weekend you would prefer at our Iwikau lodge or Liz our booking officer will try to help find accommodation at a reciprocal lodge on the mountain where possible.
For your reference following is the Rangatira Wait List procedure.
Members can choose to be wait listed at Rangatira and need to pay for this.
Alternatively members can choose to book and pay at a reciprocal lodge and not be wait listed
Or members can choose to pay for both and if a bed becomes available at our club they will need to cancel the reciprocal lodge booking which will be subject to the other lodge cancellation policy’s.
So get on to the booking system and look at some dates or contact the booking officer if you need any help.
